Exterior Features
If you're a fan of the Wrangler's rugged, square silhouette, you can rest assured that this hybrid Jeep is a near-identical replica. Indeed, the 2021 Wrangler 4xe has very few physical differences from a standard Wrangler. For example, it will be equipped with a charging port, wheels of up to 20 inches, and 4xe badging.
For the rest, you will find the iconic round headlamps, the removable roof and doors as well as the folding windshield. Note that the 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe will be available on the Unlimited Sahara 4xe ($56,485), Unlimited Sahara High Altitude 4xe ($59,990) and Unlimited Rubicon 4xe ($61,485) versions.
Powertrain
Just because it's a plug-in hybrid doesn't mean that this Jeep SUV offers less power, quite the contrary! In fact, while the standard version boasts a maximum output of 285 horsepower, the 2021 4xe develops 350 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque thanks to its 2.0-litre 4-cylinder engine paired with 2 electric motors, a 17-kWh lithium-ion battery and an 8-speed automatic transmission.
In addition to being highly capable, the Wrangler 4xe will give you a driving range of up to 34 kilometres in all-electric mode, for a total gas/electric range of 595 kilometres. Its energy efficiency? Only 4.8 Le/100 km, and a towing capacity of 3,500 pounds!
The 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe is also Trail Rated, which means it features heavy-duty front and rear axles, a two speeds, full-time transfer case 4x4 system, a fully articulated suspension, and a fording capacity of 76 cm (30 inches).
No matter which way you want to go to get to point B, the Wrangler 4xe will get you there with ease, while saving you money on your fuel bill!
Spacious and Versatile Interior
A simple look at its list of standard and available features is enough to realize that the 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe offers you a well-equipped interior with many technologies and conveniences.
