Half doors now available for Jeep Wrangler 2021 Jeep Wrangler

Last January, a few photos had suggested that the Jeep Wrangler would soon receive the half doors. Now it's official. Jeep has officially made available the Dual Door Group option that is included in the Wrangler 2021 configuration tool.
The half-door option is available on almost every configuration of the 2021 Jeep Wrangler offered, from the two-door Sport to the four-door Rubicon. The only models it is not offered with are the 4 Axis Hybrid and High Altitude models.
Two versions are available, a standard half-door with a fabric top, or a version with a more fancy top, plus power heated mirrors and speed-sensitive power locks. The price depends partly on the type of vehicle, two or four doors, as it is obvious that you will get extra doors for the four-door version.
The option is available with all Jeep Wrangler (starting at $3,175) and Wrangler Unlimited (starting at $5,395). Since these doors are part of the double-door group, they are supplied in addition to your standard size doors.
If you decide that you want better thermal and acoustic insulation, you have this option. They are not intended for the 4xe or Gladiator either, although we are sure that some enthusiasts will try to install them anyway.
And if this is a successful option package, we don't see why Jeep wouldn't one day offer this option directly on all of its vehicles.
