Motorization of your choice
Under the hood of the 2021 Jeep Wrangler there are, depending on the choice and depending on the version, several engines offering torque and fuel economy. The Jeep Wrangler's 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine develops 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft. torque, available with ESS or eTorque mild hybrid technology, and is designed to provide a wide range of torque. The optional 2.0-litre inline turbocharged four-cylinder engine, available with ESS or e-Couple soft hybrid technology, delivers 270 horsepower and 295 lb-ft. torque while the four-door Wrangler models offers the 3.0-litre EcoDiesel V6 engine, 260 horsepower and 442 lb-ft. torque, with ESS standard. A new eight-speed automatic transmission is standard and is designed to handle the increase in torque.
Fearless Adventurer
To carry out its adventurer personality, the Jeep Wrangler is equipped with a large capacity 4WD system. The efficient transmission of the Sport and Sahara models includes the two-speed Command-Trac NV241 part-time transfer case. The Wrangler Rubicon, however, includes new generation Dana reinforced front and rear axles. The Wrangler Rubicon also includes front and rear electric locking differentials, a disconnectable front stabilizer bar. The Wrangler Sahara models offer a two-speed Selec-Trac transfer case with permanent all-wheel drive and a low gear ratio of 2.72: 1.

Comfort despite everything
